Do you have strong knowledge of IFRS, SAP, Excel, and business analytics tools? Can you plan and coordinate work independently while thriving in a diverse team environment? About the position
We are looking for a Business Controller in manufacturing and procurement for our client, a successful and fast-growing electric car company. You’ll be part of the management team and be the finance expert providing advice, analysis, and proposing actions to reach targets. You will lead and drive the forecast for assigned departments together with the operation. This position is located in Gothenburg.

Your daily tasks

  • Responsible for monthly financial reporting and analysis to group functions as well as to prepare the consolidated actuals/forecasts for operations review and be a speaking partner to the operation
  • Set yearly targets and drive cost activities in assigned areas, eg HC, spend, P&L,
    investments and unit program targets, etc, and steers the operation to reach target
  • Balance program targets into yearly targets and follow up spend per program vs frame incl
    gap analysis as well as approve spend requests and propose action for cost mitigation
  • Lead and drive the forecast/budget/business plan work for assigned departments together
    with the operations
  • Responsible and takes an active role in related party activities for assigned areas, steering
    model, service agreements, actuals and forecasts, etc. Including signing end contract
  • Support in supplier risk assessments
  • Ad hoc reporting and analysis
  • Drive cost activities

• SOX controls
• Business cases/ ad hoc analysis

Your characteristics
On a personal level, you have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with a proactive mindset. You can maintain both a broad perspective and a keen eye for detail. With a solid business acumen, you are confident in interpreting and communicating financial information clearly and concisely to a variety of stakeholders, including those without a financial background. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years’ experience in financial/business controlling, preferably within industrial or
    automotive business
  • Broad knowledge of IFRS, Excel, experience in SAP and business analytics tools
  • Strong ability to plan and coordinate work independently as well as jointly in diversified
    teams
  • Flexible and proven experience at prioritize and be able to handle ad hoc requests
  • Fluent knowledge of Swedish and English

Contract type and hours
Full-time consulting assignment until 2025-10-31. Start 2025-05-05.
