About the position
One of Perido’s many clients is a company active in the automotive industry. They are one of the world’s leading manufacturers of trucks, buses, construction machinery, and marine and industrial engines. We are now looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their team in the company’s office in Lundby.
Your daily tasks
As a Mechanical Engineer, you will focus on designing and developing robust, heavy-duty components, ensuring they meet performance and production standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Development: Create and optimize heavy-duty mechanical components using Creo, including advanced calculation modules
- Production Collaboration: Work with manufacturing teams to ensure practical, production-ready designs
- Leadership & Quality: Lead design activities, ensuring deliverables meet technical and business requirements
- Innovation & Networking: Collaborate with universities, institutes, and internal teams to drive innovation and contribute to product roadmaps
- Knowledge Sharing: Provide insights based on component history and support long-term improvements

Qualifications:
- 2-5 years relevant experience
- Experience in Creo Parametric, including Creo Simulate
- Kinematical assemblies, such as movable skeleton-driven CAD-modules
- Experience from agile product development and JIRA tool
- Experience from LCA and design to embrace sustainability, circular economy and recycling
- Practical experience from workshop (private or working life) appreciated
- Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written
Contract type and hours
Full-time consulting assignment until 2025-11-28. Start 2025-02-03.
