About the position
We are looking for a Junior Accountant for our client Frank & Fred. Frank & Fred is a growing online casino company with a dynamic and modern start-up vibe. You’ll work in an international environment with excellent opportunities for career development. The office is located on Kungsgatan in central Stockholm.

A bit about the company
Founded by iGaming veterans who have successfully set-up a number of companies. Powered by knowledge, expertise and experience the company is in a growth phase whilst still holding on to that start-up feeling. They are currently operating a few online casinos with Swedish licences and have many exciting projects in the pipeline.

Your daily tasks
As a Junior Accountant, your main responsibilities will be recording invoices, ensuring that internal policies and procedures are met. You will also assist with month-end related tasks, including reconciliations, and uploading of journals ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Other areas of responsibility:

  • Keeping the company’s ledgers updated, working with the group entities in Malta, Sweden and possibly other countries
  • Preparation of balance sheet and P&L reconciliations
  • Preparation of payments
  • Reconciliation of bank statements
  • Reconciliation of affiliate commissions
  • Other general accounting duties to support the financial controller and CFO

Your characteristics
We are looking for someone with a university-level background in accounting and a few years of hands-on experience in the field. You should enjoy being part of a fun and fast-paced team, with a passion for learning new skills and processes. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a positive attitude are essential. Your ability to adapt to different situations and to communicate effectively makes you a key person in this finance function.

Qualifications:

  • Have minimum University level accounting
  • A few years’ experience from working with accounting
  • Be confident using MS Office and able to pick up how to use other systems as well
  • Have professional level proficiency of English

It would be beneficial, but certainly not necessary, to also have:

  • Experience in the iGaming industry
  • Experience using Quickbooks Online
  • Fluency in any additional languages, especially Swedish

Contract type and hours
Full-time, until further notice. Start as soon as possible.
