Design Project Coordinator to EV-company
About the position
We are looking for a Design Project Coordinator to join our client’s team. The client company is an innovative player in the fast-growing electric vehicle industry, focused on delivering premium products built on modern technology and sustainability. The position is based on-site at their office in Gothenburg.
Your daily tasks
In this role, you will support the Design Project Leaders in the day-to-day management of design projects, ensuring that activities, deliverables, timing, resources, and costs are planned, followed up, and aligned with the agreed product development process. You will act as a central support function within the design organization, enabling efficient collaboration, clear communication, and structured project governance.
You will work closely with cross-functional and global teams, combining attention to detail with a holistic understanding of project objectives. The role requires a service-oriented mindset, strong organizational skills, and the ability to adapt and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Your Responsibilities
- Support Design Project Leaders in the daily coordination and management of design projects
- Coordinate and plan design activities and deliverables according to scope, timing, logic plans, budget, and budget follow-up
- Track and control project actuals related to hours and model costs
- Maintain and update project resource files and the Resource Master with accurate forecasts
- Follow up on activities and deliveries, consolidate inputs, and prepare material for project gates and milestones
- Support design project teams with project site creation, meeting invitations, agendas, and meeting minutes
- Prepare and support Design Project meetings and design reviews
- Manage and maintain Level 2 time plans for each Design Project, based on the VPP and including short- to mid-term Physical Modelling plans
- Consolidate and maintain an overview of all deliveries within the Design Project Timing Portfolio
- Provide additional operational support as needed, including assistance to the Head of Design PMO in project governance activities

You are proactive, service-minded, and positive, with a reliable can-do attitude and a willingness to take on what needs to be done. You combine strong attention to detail with a broader, holistic perspective and are comfortable networking and collaborating across teams while also being self-motivated and accountable for your own work. You have experience working in cross-functional, multidisciplinary, and global environments and communicate clearly and professionally in both written and verbal English. You are open to learning, attentive to input from others, skilled in information gathering and monitoring, and capable of organizing, planning, and prioritizing effectively in a changing environment.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a support or coordination role within an office environment, preferably within the automotive industry
- Strong computer skills with in-depth knowledge of Microsoft tools, particularly MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams (SAP is considered a plus)
- Understanding of design studio principles, practices, and workflows
- Ability to translate business and design-related activities into structured and realistic project plans
- A creative and improvement-oriented mindset, with the ability to identify and propose efficiency opportunities
Contract type and hours
Full-time consulting assignment until 2026-12-31. Start 2026-04-01.
