About the position

Perido is looking for a Buyer on behalf of our client – a well-known international company in the automotive industry. The position is located in Gothenburg, at the client’s office.

Your daily tasks

In this assignment, you will join the Seats team within Global Procurement, a department responsible for strategic sourcing and supplier management. You will support the team with senior procurement competence and take ownership of defined sourcing activities.

Working in a high-paced, international environment, you will collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders in R&D, Quality, Finance, and Logistics, as well as external suppliers, ensuring compliance with established purchasing processes and ways of working.

Responsibilities:

• Driving and supporting sourcing activities within the scope
• Leading commercial negotiations and Supplier cost performance within agreed mandates
• Managing supplier performance, cost development and risk topics
• Acting as the procurement interface towards R&D and project teams
• Contributing to procurement processes, governance and continuous improvement

Qualifications:

• Several years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, preferably within the automotive or industrial sectors
• Strong commercial acumen and proven negotiation experience
• Documented experience working cross-functionally with engineering, project organizations, and internal stakeholders
• Ability to work independently, manage parallel tasks, and drive results within a project’s timeline
• Fluency in English, both written and verbal

Contract type and hours

Full-time, consulting assignment until 2027-07-12. Start asap.
