About the position
Perido are looking for a Strategic Buyer for our client, a large and well-known company in the automotive industry. We are looking for an experienced person to take responsibility for the Air Management segment. The role requires someone who can quickly get up to speed in new areas, drive several topics in parallel and resolve issues without getting stuck on a single topic. The position is based in Gothenburg.

Your daily tasks:

• Own the purchasing scope for Air Management and its system components
• Manage and develop relationships with the major suppliers in the segment
• Take on an additional scope within the same theme, for example Fuel Injection or another closely related segment
• Drive multiple tasks and topics at the same time and quickly bring them under control
• Understand how the system components work and fit together, in order to hold technically grounded discussions with suppliers and internal teams

You have a structured yet flexible approach to your work and can manage several parallel activities while maintaining focus on priorities and results. You are quick to understand new technical areas, take initiative and tackle challenges in a pragmatic and solution-oriented manner. With strong communication and relationship-building skills, you can engage effectively with both suppliers and internal stakeholders, build trust and drive issues forward without losing momentum.

Qualifications:

• Extensive and broad experience as a buyer in direct purchasing
• Experience working with system components and an understanding of how they function
• Experience managing large suppliers
• Ability to work flexibly, handle multiple priorities and solve problems quickly
• Available to start immediately

Advantageous:

• Experience from the automotive industry
• Prior purchasing experience within Air Management or Fuel Injection

Contract type and hours
Full-time consulting assignment until 2027-12-24. Start immediately.
