About the position
On behalf of our client, Perido is looking for a Development Engineer. The company is a world-leading supplier of transport solutions and is driving the transition to a sustainable transport system. You will be working from the office that is located in Södertälje, with the possibility to work remotely a couple of days a week.

Your daily tasks
You will be a part of a team working within Transmission Development. Your area of expertise includes general design, plastics, sheet metal castings, and media routing. To succeed in this role, we believe you have experience in outsourced development, working with development suppliers, and a good understanding of the commercial purchasing process. It is strongly beneficial if you are skilled in technical discussions.

To succeed in this role, we believe you are a goal-oriented person with the ability to prioritize your own work. You work in a well-structured manner, and you also put a lot of effort into a good collaboration with your colleagues. You are highly communicative and good at networking. We also hope you can question routines and set clear requirements.

Qualifications:

• Mechanical engineering degree or similar
• Good technical understanding of powertrain
• Experience in 3D and 2D design, FMEA, Catia, Enovia
• Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written English

Meritorious

• Fluent in Swedish
• Truck drivers license

Contract type and hours
Full-time consulting assignment for 12 months, with a possibility of extension.
Start according to agreement.
