About the position
We are looking for a Quality Manager for our client Livekindly Collective. The company was founded on the belief that plant-based food is essential for building a more sustainable global food system. The company brings together several established plant-based brands and supports them with its own production facilities, enabling both branded products and private label solutions. You will be working from the office in Stora Levene.

Your daily tasks
As the Quality Manager, you are responsible for ensuring that production meets high quality and food safety standards by managing and developing the company’s quality management system. The role involves driving continuous improvements, overseeing quality control processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and certifications. You will work closely with production, R&D, and other key stakeholders, while also representing the company in regulatory audits and quality-related matters.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and manage claims and complaints related to production
  • Manage and maintain the quality management and food safety systems, ensuring documentation is accurate and up to date
  • Lead and coordinate quality work in the factory through planning, prioritization, and follow-up
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to quality, processes, and work environment
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for quality control and testing
  • Act as HACCP/VACCP Leader and ensure compliance with food safety standards
  • Collaborate closely with the production team to support communication and maintain a strong quality culture
  • Support the R&D department with process and quality assurance from a production perspective
  • Oversee contract laboratories, including negotiations and implementation of quality agreements
  • Represent the company in regulatory audits with authorities such as the Swedish Food Agency and other local and global regulators
  • Ensure that required certifications are obtained and maintained
  • Contribute as a member of the Factory Leadership Team and support the overall quality strategy

Your characteristics
To succeed in the role of Quality Manager, you are a proactive problem solver with a strong ability to navigate complex and sometimes ambiguous situations. You are comfortable managing multiple projects at the same time and balancing competing priorities while maintaining a structured and efficient way of working. With a strong work ethic and sound decision-making skills, you are able to analyze and interpret data to support quality improvements and business decisions. You are a collaborative team player who supports colleagues when needed and works effectively with cross-functional teams across the organization. You also value and embrace diversity and inclusion, contributing to a positive and respectful working environment.

Qualifications:

  • Solid experience in quality and environment work
  • Work experience in quality assurance
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain financial plans
  • Strong working knowledge of operational procedures
  • Qualification in Food Science, Food Technology or Microbiology (advantageous)
  • Knowledge in River and SAP
  • Microsoft Office skills
  • Driver’s license
  • Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written English and Swedish

Contract type and hours
Full-time, until further notice. Start as soon as possible.
